Caleb Fort, an experienced business executive, leverages nearly three decades of experience as the president of QMX Mobile Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. An avid hunter and hiker, Caleb Fort also holds membership with professional organizations that include the American Portable Diagnostics Association and the North Carolina Healthcare Facilities Association (NCHCFA).
A nonprofit trade association, NCHCFA has represented skilled nursing care centers in North Carolina since its founding in 1955. NCHCFA is dedicated both to its members and elderly residents receiving long-term nursing care, and currently represents more than 90 percent of the state’s nursing and post-acute care centers .
In addition to a board of directors, NCHCFA is guided by six committees that monitor industry developments and recommend organizational strategy. These include groups focused on members, such as the the Associate Advisory Committee, which organizes professional events, and the Education and Programs Committee, which develops educational programming.
Other committees, such as the Council on Provider Relations and Payment for Services Committee, address organizational relationships with public and private agencies as well as fair payments for services. Finally, the Quality Advisory Committee and Standards and Ethics Committee ensure residents receive a high quality of care and that all member facilities meet established ethical and professional standards.
